Established in 1993, with the help of the legendary Durham Native and former NBA player, Rodney Rogers

and Attorney Butch Williams, the Durham Eagles Athletic Association is a publicly supported 501© non-profit

scholastic and sports organization, for youth ages 5 to 15, which serves the Durham and surrounding

communities in North Carolina. The organization is committed to improving scholastic ability, athletic ability 

and character in each individual that emanates through the Pop Warner Football Program. Our program serves

a comprehensive range of community members including all socio-economic groups and cultures. We have

created an environment that helps begin and enhance scholastic aptitude by providing participants and their

families with a long-term focus on successful academic performance and excellent citizenship. 

We encourage each participant to excel academically and to begin focusing on the goal of graduating

high school and pursuing a college degree or obtaining a skilled trade to live a productive life of happiness.
